COMMITTEES 

Building & Grounds Responsible for assessing the needs of the church building and grounds and arranging maintenance and improvements as needed. 
Life & Growth Responsible for planning special activities to promote a Christian atmosphere and a sense of community within the congregation.  Examples of events include: New Member Sundays, Sunday Social Hours, Italian Fest, Ice Cream Social, Rally Day, Family Activity Nights and Church Picnic.
Personnel Responsible for the hiring, evaluation and management of paid church personnel.
Finance Responsible for the management of church funds and preparation of the church budget.
Scholarship Responsible for selection process and awarding of funds from the church's dedicated scholarship fund.  Usually two scholarships are awarded each year.
Stewardship

Responsible for creating awareness about stewardship and our roles in being a Steward of God’s church. This committee conducts the annual fall Stewardship Drive which encourages members to consider what monetary gifts, as well as time and talents, they are able to give in support of the church. 

Worship & Evangelism Responsible for seeking out ways to enhance the worship service experience.  Includes oversight of everything from ushers, music and communion assistants to lecturers, youth services and outdoor services.
Youth & Education Responsible for working with the Youth and Education Coordinator in organizing and implementing an interesting and educational approach for our youth to learn more about the Bible and it’s teachings. 

  

The committee is responsible for informational meetings regarding the National Youth Gathering, Confirmation class curriculum, weekly Sunday School curriculum, Vacation Bible School, youth Christmas program and youth worship services. 

  Altar Guild This group prepares the altar for Communion and maintains the altar paraments which are seasonal with the church year.  Two people are scheduled each month.
St. Paul Women of the ELCA All women of St. Paul are automatically members of the Women of the Church organization.Three circles are offered, and meet monthly for Bible studies.
