Pizza Drop In

Pizza and fellowship time will resume on January 7th at 6:00 for all interested Jr. and Sr. High Youth.

New Orleans Meeting

The youth attending the NYG will be meeting on Wednesday, January 28th to begin preparation for the gathering.  Please call Barb Staude(686-8959) if you cannot attend. 

 

We have three young people who are preparing for the ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans in July.  They are Kiley Armstrong, Jason Gass and Matt Staude.

         What is the ELCA National Youth gathering?  It is a major ministry of journeying and new life in community for school-aged youth of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  Young people from all over the country are renewed in baptism, strengthened for wise leadership, and empowered as they publicly witness the gospel in Music, Worship, in compelling stories and testimony, in Christ-like serving and seeking justice, Biblical reflection and learning.

      The theme for this years gathering is Jesus, Justice and Jazz.  This theme blends the rich faith history, diverse cultures and arts of New Orleans. 

       We ask you, our congregation to enter into an intentional six-month period of focused prayer.  Pray for the young people and leader who will attend the gathering, that the Holy Spirit might prepare each member to experience Jesus, Justice and Jazz.
